Objective: 

Ms. Betz is responsible for providing administrative oversight and ensuring that the terms and conditions of the consortium and all research sites comply with federal regulations. Ms. Betz will meet regularly with the PI to discuss business issues related to the scientific and administrative aspects of the ACC. Ms. Betz has 18 years experience managing and overseeing federal awards. Ms. Betz will provide administrative oversight to Dr. Terrin for all personnel, purchasing, contract and fiscal management issues related to this study. This function includes serving as a liaison on business matters between the project and university business offices, establishing and maintaining subcontracts, monitoring study budgets, ensuring that expenditures are in compliance with PHS and OMB cost principles, and preparing NIH reports (progress reports, effort reports, financial reports, etc.). Ms. Betz will also be responsible for tracking procurement, submitting requisitions and purchase orders for the supplies, travel and other expenses associated with the research. Ms. Betz will oversee cost accounting of Pilot Projects administrated by the ACC and will communicate and coordinate to ensure the timely submission of invoices and execution of the research budget. Assists in development of spreadsheets, databases and other information resources as needed to track research progress, submission of data and documents. Ms. Betz will be responsible for disbursement of all pilot and ancillary study funds and all fiscal aspects of pilot and ancillary study Request for Application development, submission budget analysis and awards under the direction of Dr. Terrin.
