PCTC Cardiovascular Bioengineering (CVBE) Symposium, June 9-11, 2022

NEW AMOUNT: TRAVEL AWARDS

A limited number of travel awards ($1,000 each) will be made on a competitive basis for:

  • new faculty or young investigators (assistant professor, instructor, or lower rank within five years of first faculty appointment and never a principal investigator on a national research award, e.g., NIH R01)
  • trainees
    • graduate students
    • post-doctoral fellows

who have affiliation with the NHLBI Progenitor Cell Translational Consortium (PCTC) or have had affiliation with the earlier NHLBI Progenitor Cell Biology Consortium (PCBC) with priority given to those submitting abstracts for presentation.

Deadline for travel awards application is April 30, 2022.

The PCTC Cardiovascular Bioengineering (CVBE) Symposium is a platform for investigators to discuss advances in translational heart failure research and to provide Young Investigators and trainees opportunities to present their innovative research.

There will be vibrant discussions on the identification of novel therapeutic targets and strategies to translate the state-of-the-art experimental knowledge into clinical applications.

-       Overseas, International Attendees (e.g., North American, or Asian): Strongly recommended to arrive on June 8, 2022, to allow sufficient time for arrival, local transportation, and sign-in prior to meeting participation.
